Archive
The Archive (/disks) lists every drive the tester has ever seen, even if it is no longer connected. A click opens the drive view with the complete job history.
Search, filter, sort
- Search: The search term is looked up in manufacturer, model, serial number, label, notes and firmware.
- Filter: by verdict (good, warning, bad, unknown) and by whether the drive is currently connected.
- Sort: by the offered columns, ascending or descending.
The manufacturer is derived from the model or vendor (e.g. WDC and WD as Western Digital, ST as Seagate, MZ- as Samsung). If it cannot be recognized, the field stays empty.
Retention
Finished jobs are kept for as many days as Retention (days) under Settings specifies (default 365, allowed 30 to 3650). There is no longer an upper limit on the number of jobs per drive.
- Older jobs are deleted once a day and when the service starts.
- A drive's entry is removed when it is not connected, has no jobs left and has not been seen since the cutoff.
- Drives can also be deleted manually as long as they are not connected.
